I'm sure I'm not the first but:

Though I must say I do support an optional sixth day in case of rain or such event which made it impossible to bowl all 450 overs. However I don't think this is practical with tv and scheduling.

The best solution. If a game is drawn after 450 overs, then it really isn't cricket.

I reckon there's a case for adding a sixth day to a deciding Test (as used to be done occasionally - the last time, I think, in 1975) but the players would be against it, of course.

I think 20 days would be perfect. We could combine test cricket with reality TV to make it a real spectacle - Ed Cowan would be renovating a small house at square leg, while Ryan Harris cooks sausages at long off. At the same time, Virat Kholi is auditioning for Simon Cowell, Danni Minogue, and Piers Morgan in front of the Member's Stand.

It'd be riveting stuff.
