The ATG World XI's game

I really don't mind - if you want me to run one, I will. If you two want to keep doing it yourself, that's fine too. You're choice.

Openers:
Jimmy Cook - one of the most underrated openers around, a shame that his career was utterly ruined by Apartheid. Averaged 50 in FC cricket (albeit played much of it at Taunton).
Stewie Dempster - New Zealand's first batting great. Very good batsman indeed, shame his career was cut short by the war.

Middle Order:
Kumar Duleepsinhji - I'll keep voting for him until he gets in :p
Maurice Leyland - From what I've read, an incredible player of spin bowling. One of England's many great middle order players from his era.
Jack Ryder - Averaged 50+ in Tests in a bowler-friendly(ish) era. Useful with the ball as a 6th bowler too.

Wicketkeeper:
Gerry Alexander - Very good wicketkeeper, very good batsman and a good captain too. Another whom I'm going to continue voting for.

Spinner:
Subhash Gupte - From all accounts a very good spinner. About time one of the classical Indian spinners gets in, shame the votes have been split between them up til this point.

Fast Bowlers:
Jack Gregory - Spearhead of the attack, and can bat as well.
George Hirst - Didn't quite perform as well as he arguably should have at Test level, however his FC stats are incredible.

Edrich vs. Slater is very close. I saw all of Slater's career and I was definitely a fan especially pre-dropping where he averaged above 47 so he gets in.

Hussey vs. Jones - Excellent batsman, difficult decision. I'll go Hussey.

I think it worked out well doing 9 names in 1 go.

1) Select a number 6 - I guess Prior could bat 6, and this selection could bat at 7.
2) Select the final spot, most likely a number 9 or 10
