    Mohammad Sami vs Ishant Sharma

Since Hurricane brought up the mention of Ishant Sharma on CW50 thread and Sami's name coming up in another thread I was wondering who is the better bowler of the two?

    It's a genuine question

And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Assuming that it's tests, Sharma obviously. ODIs, Sami by a fair distance.

    Overall, I'd still say Sharma.

FTR just me who thinks Sami isn't as horrendous as his figures seem to indicate?

Not afraid to say I am a big Sami fan. Think he is far better than how he'll be remembered. Still holding out hope for a triumphant international return tbh.

Sami for an ODI comeback! Always loved watching him bowl.
The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.

What's not to love? If the guy had played for NZ he'd have 250+ Test wickets

The Malcolm Marshall of the 2000's certainly had the most potential in his time.
Sadly, either it was his brain or lack of proper coaching and probably lack of luck as well which ruined his career.

I still believe he should be ahead of the likes of Aizaz Cheema :\

Well I only really have two options here.

    1. Don't vote.
    2. Lie.

    Rolling with #1 for now.

Sanga isn't the best off spinner in the history of cricket? News to me.

I'm in a similar predicament. Vote for an Indian fast bowler in a poll or abstain? Latter for now.

Voted for Sami here but I admit I'm a bit biased towards him since I'm a fan. Just love watching him bowl and always tend to hope he'll do well. I think he's still pretty good in limited over games.
