Check the last assumption, I reckon. One iffy season away from Shield oblivion.

What credentials does Anthony Stuart exactly have as a coach? Didn't he coach one of the NZ domestic teams? IIRC, that stint went terribly.

Another two quality players sign on for Tasmania. Their squad is shaping up very well and is full of quality.

Only Cazzulino, Krejza, Smith and Triffit to go for Tasmania. Of the four Triffit will be the hardest to retain as he has the offer of first team cricket at Western Australia.

Tassie have a good under 19 keeper name of i think Michael Jones, averaged round 40 in the state under 19 cup, could have been a back up to Pierson and Bancroft at the world youth cup.

With Paine coming back I'm really not too sad to see the back of Triffit, especially considering we have retained some massive names.

Have no idea who Andrew Fekete is. But rumour has it that a Victorian batsman may be signing on for Tas for next season...

Fekete played one game for Victoria at the end of the year, acquitted himself well until Theo Drop whacked one back into his foot, which broke it and put him out for seven to eight weeks. He finished the over with a broken foot though.

Played a fair bit of 2nd XI cricket for Victoria over the years. Good back-up option, similar to Maher.
