Well said bud
Thanks mate.

Aussie Contract Watch (12 points needed)

2 ODI matches complete and already 5 uncontracted players picked

Brett Lee - 4 points
Steve Smith - 4 points
George Bailey - 2 points
Peter Forest - 2 points
Clint McKay - 2 points

Lee should be contracted by the end of this ODI series, but I hope Smith is not...
Updated points with the side named for the 4th ODI of the year.

Brett Lee - 8 points
George Bailey - 6 points
Peter Forest - 6 points
Clint McKay - 6 points
Steve Smith - 4 points

So the washed out 3rd ODI cost Lee a contract this tour...does this mean Lee will get a contract if he plays against Afghanistan in the warm up to the Pakistan series?

All seems pointless; they should have just given him one at the start as they must have known he'd be a regular.

Tremain has been offered a full contract by NSW for two years and is joind in the squad by Hughes.

Full time Blues for Tremain - Local News - Sport - Cricket - Central Western Daily

Cruickshank and O'Keefe also in.

http://manly-daily.whereilive.com.a...free-okeefe-aiming-up-for-a-scorching-summer/

Dawson also on a full contract.

http://www.cricket.unsw.edu.au/

Toolie earlier suggested NSW were going to have 16 full-time contracts and 5 rookie contracts. If so:

ACB: Clarke, Cummins, Haddin, Starc, Watson, Warner

Full: Abbott, Bollinger, Copeland, Cruickshank, Dawson, Hazlewood, Henriques, Henry, Hughes, Lalor, Maddinson, Nevill, O'Keefe, Rohrer, Smith, Tremain

Rookie: Bills, Doran. Patterson, Sandhu, Zampa

Personally, I think Patterson deserves a full contract.

do you think the real reason usman left is because we gave sandhu a contract? pakistani-indian relations are still frosty

Lot of batsmen in that NSW squad,i suggest the selectors signed them up believing they too would go.
Good to see bowlers dominate the rookie list, glad Patterson got a full contract or he could have gone the same way as Vander Gugten.
I gather ****ley will attempt a come back with NSW,will follow his form at Randwick,Sydney grade will be closely followed this year.
Hope the NSW 2nd xl squad is not dominated by allrounders this year.
