Disagree, we're going to collapse like this whether we've got the extra batsman or not. Rather take the bowling firepower.

Really hoping that New Zealand get bowled out for 135 here. Would be hilarious.

And a great lesson to McCullum and Taylor, as if the dumb ****s haven't had enough already. I'm blaming them.

McCullum and Taylor will get a lot of criticism for this after getting out playing attacking shots. Partly that will be fair but it's also tough when our entire run-scoring efforts rely on those two plus Vettori.

We could start by not picking passengers like Nicol for the top 6

Yeah, I'm only partially serious with all the anger. Wiliamson looks like he has zero confidence atm though.

Boycott used to rattle on about "whenever you feel you're in a good spot, look at the scorecard and add two wickets, then see how you feel". NZ followers are well used to adapting the saying, picking some number between 2 and 8...

It puts that potential last day chase in Dunedin into some sort of perspective doesn't it?

So I pop out and NZ lose 4 for none.

Joy! All started by a predictably dumb shot from McCullum.

McCullum's shot wasn't just attacking, it was plain idiotic. Taylor's was just a lazy poor shot.

I left work as McCullum was dismissed, so naturally gobsmacked to get home 10 mins later to see us 7 down, I assumed it was a replay.

I think the whole 6 batsman vs 5 batsman thing - only matters if we have 6 test standard batsman in the country.

Taylor's still searching for his first half ton against SA.

New Zealand are the only team to lose five wickets for no runs in Test cricket, and they've done it three times!!!

Here's a top idea. Our top sorry, 'top' order batsman get out for **** all and let Steyn beat the **** out of our new fast bowler.

Will Gillespie come out to bowl? May have just broken his forearm. NZ you are so ****.
