this will most likely end 4-0, if we bat well enough for at least a test, we might be able to salvage one draw...

3-0-4-0, 2-1 or 2-2 surely its time to move on from Sachin Dravid and Lax. India's not touring for the next 2 years so its better they start fresh with the young blokes then trying to get any mileage out of the 3 legends

Yeah I think at the end of the tour they should retire. India don't have any tough tours for 3 years so it's a perfect opportunity to groom a few new bats. No point give a young lad his first series in South Africa.

They will at least get a draw. I would not even be suprised if they won one. Australia still need to fix their top order which looks extraordinarily brittle.

Dravid was the only guy who performed for us in England and Tendulkar has been our best bat in this series. Thats a knee jerk statement imo after just 2 tests.

There is absolutely no way in hell I would even contemplate pushing off Sachin. Not least because he's scoring way more than his fair share of runs, hundred or not, but because... ffs, imagine if you're a young batsman, you stride out to the middle for the first time in a Test, who do you want batting at the other end?

You can't just dump all your experience. Laxman I could see the argument for, even perhaps Dravid, but Tendulkar can play as long as he likes IMO (so long as he scores runs and he's shown no signs that he'll stop doing that)

India's record (bar the series against England) suggests that they will get better, perhaps even win one test. If the WACA plays like it did last year, then Adelaide would seem to be the test they have their best chance to win because the conditions are more familiar.

On that note, if India keep playing the way they have been, then a 4-0 result is very likely, especially if the Aussie bowlers keep up the good work and the top order gels together.

It's hard to see a result in both the remaining tests, Adelaide especially. Even harder to see an Indian victory, mind.
