It's a meaningful achievement definitely - but like with many achievements it's a function of both time, your opportunities to play everyone, and being consiststant.
So at no point over the last 15-20 years (at least) can it be considered meaningful.
Sangakarra's 150 s every country is pretty impressive I must say.
Because comedy ain't funny any more.
(i.e. I misread your post)
However, as an isolated achievement, it is a great achievement to have a century against every test playing nation of your time. Say someone like Marvan Attapattu, not a great player but he can always look back at that and feel good about himself..or his fans can feel good looking at that..whats wrong with that.
"This is sport, we need our losers right there. Right in front of us. We need the schadenfreude, we need to see they are hurt, we need to know what they think went wrong. Because we already know what went wrong. We need their version of it so we can feel superior, or smug, or whatever feeling it is we need to get us through another pointless week in our lives. " - Jarrod Kimber
Sanga does not have a century in every country but has a century against every country.
