pattinson showing pitch is good to play on .. Wonder it will help indian batsmen thinking
Indeed.

If Aus can score 60+ runs for the last two wickets in the 3rd innings, 300 doesn't seem an impossible target with Gambhir, Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Kohli, Dhone & Ashwin....

Great hour for Aus. Got us as slight favourites aws. Another 20-30 and solid favourites IMO.

Though the way they are batting in the last year away from home makes you think Aus are strong favourites with this lead.

Dhoni, Kohli, Gambo & Ashwin are walking wickets. Sehwag is a lottery. So chasing 300 with 2n half batsmen not going to be easy.

So you didn't watch the game yesterday, ok then.
Whilst I'm late here, please note the word probably in my comment. I didn't say always, or today in particular.

I just remembered something I hate more than speed gun comment - in-out fields to new batsmen, especially tail-enders. aaaaaaaaarggggggg. Ball swinging, Hilf No.11..comes in with 3-4 boundary riders and those who are in, not particularly saving one. I repeat, argg.

I still have a lingering bad feeling though that India might chase this no matter what total we get here. It might Gambhiring, I don't know. The wicket just looks really good still...makes me feel uneasy.

Having Sehwag and Gambhir out there for an hour already bodes well for the Aussie quicks.....I said it yesterday and I'll say it again...I want to see the Indian batsmen take some body blows.
