Umm the fact that he doesnt actually take enough wickets and wins enough matches for Paksitan? even when matches are played on turning subcontinent tracks.

He isn't that type of bowler, he is more of a holding bowler, Seen a combination of him+Gul on numerous occasions and it works.

well so is Rehman and he is doing a fine job..so why should Kaneria be picked over Rehman or Ajmal and Ajmal is actually taking wickets and winning games for Pakistan.

Rehman is more of a 'darty' bowler, he only really kills the game. Ajmal is a beast, but I think we need Kaneria, it wouldn't be fair to deny him a chance.

Its not a surprise Kaneria performance dipped when Akmal started dropping/fixing and Pakistan batting went to ****. He's a guy who needs the confidence of runs on the board he did win his fair share of games when Inzi/Mo Yo/Younis were batting well together.

Pakistan's strength has always been pace bowling. They have never disappointed and even when stocks are bad they always come through. That's why I think we should go with 3 pacers.
Just because that's often been true doesn't mean it always has and it certainly doesn't mean it's true now.
