Well done Martin Love kill a game why don' t you, it could have been an exciting game but he had to think about himself and not the team. take a chance, you should have declared 100 odd runs behind and made a game of it. Stupid bl**dy Queensland fool
Clearly you know very little about the game of cricket. If anything at all.

You clearly werent watching the game as Victoria could be quilty of stone walling and playing for a draw as well.

Grow up idiot.

Love was thinking of his team, they needed 200+ if they were a chance to win. Do you really think if Qld had a lead of 100 Victoria would have set Qld 50 or 60 to win, there was only going to be one team winning that game at the end of day three and it wasn't Victoria.

We don't often agree on much Craig - but this we do :D

Pura Cup Round-up

Victoria v Victoria

Queensland played Victoria at Junction Oval in Melbourne, has ended in a draw. The main highlight was Martin Love's return to form and scoring 300*.

Scores:
Victoria 381-9dec.(Elliott 106, Moss 80, Roach 47; Dawes 4-89)
Queensland 605-7dec.(Love 300*, Hopes 97, Perren 95, Seccombe 57; Lewis 2-89, McDonal 2-98)
Victoria 208-2 (Hodge 111*, Elliott 79; Jurgensen 1-39, Payne 1-6)

Results: Match Drawn

Points: Queensland 2, Victoria 0

Man Of The Match: Martin Love

Tasmania v New South Wales

On stumps on Day 3, Tasmania are 26/1 requiring another 360 runs to win on the last day at Bellervive Oval in Hobart. A draw or a New South Wales win looks likely.

Scores:
New South Wales 453-5dec. (Katich 171, S.Waugh 157, M.Waugh 43*, Haddin 40*; Wright 3-86)
Tasmania 276 (Marsh 68, Mason 58; MacGill 5-79)
New South Wales 208-8 (Mail 107*, M.Waugh; Wright 4-50)
Tasmania 26-1 (Cox 18*, Watson 1*; Nicholson 1-6)

Points: New South Wales 2, Tasmania 0

Great road .. I mean pitch that the Victorians prepared. By declaring behind it would have meant Qld would have been 8 points behind Vic instead of 4 and by getting 200 ahead it did give them a chance to win the game. Its not as if they were pushing singles. The Qld runrate was about 3.5 an over.

Im tipping NSW to beat SA in Tuesdays Pura Cup match. Thoughts?
Can't really bet against NSW's batting line-up at the moment, they've been on fire (if you blank out 2nd Innings vs Tassie). However, think I might be supporting SA because of Davison. :) They seem to have pretty strong batting line-up too.

Is it me or do both those sides have much stronger batting than bowling? (I'm not very knowledgable about many Aussie players so only see people I recognise from you guys talking or articles)

Tassie played brilliantly, Di venuto and Marsh. a good win for them, should give them alot of confidence for the rest of the season.

NSW vs SA well NSW should win though will be down abit, ive heard that Gillespie may make a return which would be a huge boost for SA though really it all comes down to Blewetts batting

And who else is Gilly like besides Gilly himself.
Well I think when reffering to his run rates, there are a couple of players who fit into the aggressive, run machine category...
