Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta |

Swann, without a doubt.
![]() Just the Farhat ball alone, Off spin at its finest. Ajmal, I fear, is heading down the Saqlain route. (too over-reliant on the doosra, will affect his ability to land his off break, may lead to his exit from the game farther down the line) Last edited by SFB; 13-12-2012 at 02:30 AM. |

Swann is apparently the world's leading wicket taker this year. Often a bit of a useless stat given the disparity in Tests played by different sides etc, but it did surprise me as he's not been at his best for large parts of this year.

there is always something about Pakistani spinners not performing against South Africa while the rest of the world spinners make merry against them
It all started back in 1996 when South Africans swept the **** out of Mushy I remember something like 4 or 5 boundaries in one of Mushy's overs and all on the sweep shot I think |

both Mushy and Kaneria have contributed to a test win in South Africa no reason for Ajmal to not do it albeit SA is probably the better batting line up now then what they were in 98 or 2006.
Tbf Mushy was bowling with Waqar and Shoaib while Kaneria had Asif and Shoaib. Ajmal will probably have Wahab Riaz and Cheema
