Thread: Ajmal vs Swann

  1. #166
All depends on the ICC really as to which one is 'better'. If shot putting and the like is allowed then Ajmal is the better bowler.

Well it makes about as much sense as that average + economy thing Athlai did in the APS thread anyway....

Test ALL of them under match conditions. Then we'll have a discussion.

I agree that Ajmal has a dodgy action, but he's a very good bowler. Another year of what he's been doing will put him ahead of Swann, but for now I'd still have Swann #1. Just.

Well Ajmal has set a benchmark in this series..lets see how Swann responds...not to mention Ajmal got wickets of some top notch batsmen, Swann has less challenging batting side against him.

As before, try to take the discussion about actions + their legality out of this thread.

    Jeets>both imo /thread

Swanneh looks out of form tho, still would love to watch him over Ajmal anyday. As for better, I'd have to say Ajmal is slightly ahead ATM

What ever method. I am not a person to do it. testing arbitrary bowlers on highly subjective viewpoint called "expert" opinion is not fair for the bowlers.
