In contemplating Cork's retirement I immediately thought of Dion Nash since they were similar players. Who was the best international cricketer of the two?

Dion Nash

vs

Dominic Cork

Very similar indeed. Looking at their figures, is there any reason why Nash took so few FC wickets? 162 in 88 non-Test matches seems insanely low for what I'd have thought of as a relatively specialist bowler.

well the both were good and sometimes the both were looked similar in games but i watch most of the games of Dion Nash and in my views he is the better option because he did a lot of work for his team winning performance so he is the best

Got injured half way through a hell of a lot of them! :p

Think he played a bit as a specialist batsman at times, didn't he?
Nah, you may be getting muddled-up with Cairns who did play as a specialist batsman on occasions. Although Nash's Test batting did improve out of sight in his last couple of seasons, he was never good enough to play as solely a batsman.

He means in First Class cricket, while recovering from injury (it was in reference to marc's point about his lack of FC wickets in non-Test games). I believe he did.

You're right, at FC level he was good enough
