You'd expect to get at least 60 overs play at least if you closed at 5.30. With the poor light though they'd be hardpressed to get 40.

If Ponting makes it, his career will receive a new lease of life.

50 overs should see a result.

40 will be tough.

Hope the over rates aren't silly.

7 wickets to get...Should be able to do it in 25-30 overs, if all three hit their strides. If a pace attack of Steyn-Philander-Morkel can't kill them here, it would most likely be due to quality batting rather than mediocre bowling.

Plus, the legspinner bowling against the tail can always make quick strikes. Ponting's wicket could prove to be the body blow for Australia!

Hope to get a result today, I've got a feeling this could go right down to the wire.

Would love to see Ponting and Clarke put on a massive partnership.

What was the result of the one day stuff? I seriously have no idea how that turned out. I bet in a few months time very few people will be able to remember without looking it up.

If rain stays out, 50 overs are more likely...depends on light as well!
