That would really suck. Was really looking forward to it.

Still can't believe the Aussies picked Smith again and gave him a place above Dussey. Sure Dussey pretty much failed thought the whole series the final ODI but still wasn't as bad as Smith. Also I have no idea why they are not picking Ferguson.

AB out for 4-6 weeks apparently after having surgery. Touch and go for the tests.

IPL hasn't been kind to SA in recent years. Amla as vice-capt. will probably take the reins for limited overs. Aust. could move into favouritism now as their batting could be weaker in all forms.

South Africa's ODI batting is piss weak IMO.

Yea, you gotta wade through 2 T20s and 3 ODIs first though, all for two measly tests.

Totally agree, can't wait till this series starts. Sucks not having any England tests to watch till the new year so this series will be watched far more intently now.

I just hate the gaps between the fixtures.

With the T20s finishing on 16 October, instead of playing the ODIs on 19, 23 and 28 it would be nice if the games were on 19, 21 and 23. 4 days in between a one day match is too many in such a short series.

The match against South Africa A could be 25-28 with the First Test starting on October 2nd instead of the 9th.

Being a week ahead means a 3rd Test could take place finishing the tour say 1 day later than the current schedule.

It would be good if it was that simple hey, they'd just be like; were having a game of cricket on these days (x-x,x-x) so everyone else sort your crap out around that if you want to be apart of it

Hmm. I'm wondering if the later paragraphs in that piece will merely increase the Marmite quotient (haters will hate more, lovers will love more etc).
