What they should do is can the UDRS and make sure to make mention in every controversial decision that it was removed at India's request.

Why is the BCCI so against UDRS?
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

    lol........good suggestion.......

or maybe just start giving too many decisions against India so that BCCI are forced to adopt it

I think the real reason was that the Indian side had a couple of series where they had real shockers in using it where it seems every time they challenged a decision, the original decision was proved correct. Now I think a few of the senior Indian players have it in their heads that it advantages the opposition. Just my opinion, of course.

The biggest irony is that if it wasn't for their whining after Sydneygate, UDRS probably wouldn't even exist. It's like there's no pleasing the BCCI.

It was only one series .......ind vs sl

they felt they got the wrong end of the stick on every call.

like anything you do the first time it can be a little difficult..

I thought they also had a series against Australia where the same thing happened.

That was without UDRS iirc. That's why Bucknor got dumped and most likely why UDRS got brought in anyway.

Hmmm, was sure I could remember a second series where they used it. Maybe I got the opposition wrong. Oh well.

To be fair ,the BCCI has nothing at all to do with UDRS not being there in the Newzealand - Pakistan series.

You never know TBH. Damn you and your inconvenient facts, getting in the way of a good old anti-BCCI rant.

that is true, however the bcci has indirectly effected other teams not to use it. because the icc is to weak to force it to be compulsary, ( thus avoiding bcci to do something they dont) so instead they allow teams to make the decision themselves. ( we dont know which team between pak and nz decided not to use it.) however if the icc had some spine this option wouldnt be availible.

there is even talk of it not to be used in the world cup.

Lol @ speculating that the NZ board did not use UDRS because it was scared that the BCCI might apply pressure for it's removal if the board did want to use it.

It might be true though, you never know, just like how creationism might be true.

QUOTE]thats not what i applied nor did i even say.

I think you need to re-read.. let me break it down.

bcci dont want to use udrs
icc is to weak to force the use of udrs as complusary. because if they made it compulsary this would mean India (bcci) would be forced to use it.
so an easy way out of this situation for the icc is to leave the decision to individual boards.
hence the reason in nz vs pak it only takes one board to not want to use it.
