Just a question of who'll beat Somerset in the final now, tbh.
Rumour has it that if Somerset win the semi they're not bothering about the final. They are straight back to Blighty.

PS anyone know what the going rate is for geting to the final?

Can't begin to describe how annoyed I am at 3 things; that SA lost, that a Massive masterpiece didn't result in a win and that a **** like Kholi was in the winning team.

So who's in the semis with NSW? Not that it matters, we'll dominate. But it's good to know these things.

So happy to see the couple of IPL teams in the semis. Satisfying to see some of the people here gets disappointed. If only the other 2 teams were T&T and one of the SA'can team.

Just saw highlights, Harris and Kohli both batted really well. Harris in particular didn't even hit that many sixes, yet ended up with an immense strike rate.

Satisfying result for RCB, for the Champions' League, the IPL and the Indian setup. RCB may depend a lot on Gayle and Vettori, but they've also got a good Indian base- fair, not so much Jamal and Asad, but the others are often touted as rising stars for India, or do well in domestic games. If only the RCB staff get more out of them.

That won't happen if the likes of Tiwary, Pujara and Agarwal keep hiding low down the order. Tiwary wanted to score runs, not just turn it over to Dilshan, but lack of practice showed up as a big shot attempt became a catching chance. While they're settled with Gayle and Dilshan/AB at the top, they'd do well to give the Indian youngsters plenty of chances in the next IPL.

They'd also benefit by signing on better T20 bowlers in India- honestly, the likes of Jamal and Pathan#3 don't deserve to be in what's supposed to be a Premiership of Indian T20. Not many inside of Karnataka (here comes Mithun once more) but maybe neighbouring Maharashtra, MP or Jharkhand.

Haven't been following the tournament but I read briefly about the finish and caught the final part of the highlights just now. Wow, that has to be one of the great finishes in the history of cricket. Complete fairy-tale stuff. Home crowd. Need a win to qualify. Team almost destroyed in penultimate over. Last-ball six to win the game by a tail-ender. No one in that stadium will ever forget this game.

Oh and I am guessing Jono is going to be using that picture in an avatar-bet against a Kohli hater.

Think he'll have different purposes for it in mind, being a Kohli-bater.

MI have got their 'injured' (give them the benefit of the doubt, could have been miscommunication on their part) player back and thus they aren't allowed to field 5 overseas players any longer. If anything it will strengthen the side imo.

Arun Karthik is not a tailender.. He plays in the top order for Tamilnadu and has played many good innings in the Ranji trophy and the one day games..
