International 12th Man
Some good, old-fashioned tailender batting going on in the 49th over at the Mount today ...

GW Aldridge st GJ Hopkins b Bhupinder Singh 1 (2)
A Verma st GJ Hopkins b Bhupinder Singh 2 (2)

Good to see Verma actually get a run, he's pretty much been Mr 12th man for a good 18 months now. A good run this season and he might not have to pack up and look for opportunities elsewhere like others have already had too.

Phew. Wellington doing well with the bat soothes my anger a bit. Sounds like a belter of a batting wicket, and a pretty small ground too. Is 309 enough?

Do all the Cachopa's keep?

Seems like Austin-Smellie may have lost his place in the team, possibly in all forms of the game too.

Steve will be happy. CdG just hit a massive six down the ground off Wagner then followed it up with a four next ball.

Entertaining listen on the radio.

Haha, Otago lose.

Jeez Wagner goes for a bit in all forms. Good to see Jimmy do good with bat and ball again.

He's a lord, there's nothing more to say about it. 43 off 18.

Big raps to Brad Cachopa as well, boy can flat out play. And is making up for Tim Mc trying to get back in the Test squad by eking out painstaking innings at the top.

Its not as if McIntosh doesn't have it in him to score quicky either after his performances last year in the one day format.
