I've decided to select on NEXT season so basically N Parlane out, Papps in.

Select on birthplace/junior cricket IMO.

Smashed by an innings and 82 runs, Jeets and McKay bowled alright but only Papps and Ryder managed to cross 50, got bowled out for 165 and 251 ffs.

Boam debut Test 50 though.

And bowled them out for a first innings lead - very nice. Basically every body got 2 wickets. And then they rolled me for 120 and won by 8 wickets. FML

Chanderpaul just scored 244 no against me.... O'Brien got a 5fer though so the rest of Windies didn't do that much damage.

Chanderpaul followed up his 200 with a run a ball 150 and gave us a day and a half to bat out. Murdoch managed to make it pretty easy on a flat deck with double hundreds.

A few things after my first year of playing.

Murdoch has broken the NZ record for most runs in a single year of Test cricket for a Kiwi, scoring 1064 @ 81.85 in his debut season. ATG in the making. Also in all likelihood this is the worst bowling ever seen by a NZ team.

I've noticed this version loves having wickets fall at the end of a session.

In my proper NZ game Stephen Murdoch just hit 218* on debut.*

*pitch was flaaat. Flat as in three innings were played, and it only made it to three because I declared late day 5.
