What is it with this guy? The score's 66-6, Harbhajan's new to the crease and he's got just the two slips in place. For Gods sake man, stop ***** footing around and grow a pair will you!

To be fair he had a circle of men close in off and on side ready for the mistimed pull where Harby gets caught lots and was out in the first innings.

He did have 3 slips in for Tendulkar so not as though he was being ultra defensive.

Strauss got it right. Given the match situation, there was only one way Harbhajan was going to play, and the third slip would have been wasted, IMO.

This, they've obviously had the stats guys working out where he holes out and scores runs etc because the field placings to a lot of the players right through the line up up, were very deliberate and like you said, they were moving more slips in for Tendy than Bhaji.

I presume the English staff might have watched the West Indies series before, and if they had it's pretty obvious that Bhaji can't put the hook/pull shot away to any short ball. A lot of the time he can't control it either if there's extra bounce. Thought it was a good tactic to him
