Ajinkya Rahane - still not getting a chance!

First have a look at his stats.

Average of 67.72 in 48 FC games.Isn't it enough to play for India.Although there is hardly any vacant place in the middle order of the Test match XI of India.But they could have tried him in ODIs in the current WI tour.I fear he is currently in his best form & it may pass on with time if he doesn't get a chance soon.People like Mithun Manhas & Amol Mazumdar also didn't get a chance when they were at peak & after that they couldn't reach that level again & lots of other players came forward with time & there was a stiff competetion.

Tbf,Mazumdar and Manhas were not too special.

But Rahane certainly deserves his chance in either formats.

TBH,Muzumdar definitely deserved a chance too.He still averages 47 in FC cricket.
