Bopara had a rant a few weeks back if I remember right.

Should not be allowed in any XI, however novelty it is.

Shane Bond had a go at someone didn't he? Can't remember if it was the NZ board or not though.

Oh and great speech by Sanga. Really interesting to hear a great player talk about Sri Lankan cricketing history.

Love Sangakkara. Brilliant lecture, so much more incisive than just a rant.

Incidentally, why is Younis not in the XI?

Thought the anecdotes about the attack were particularly striking.

Cos we have standards. We're not looking for dignified silence here.

Could do a very good All Time XI too probably. Larwood and Sid Barnes already pop into mind.

Didn't Harmison have a whinge earlier this year?

May have done, but I missed it if he did. Hoggard's been more vocal about his axing hasn't he?

Going back a few years, Andy Caddick regularly signalled the start of the English summer by telling anyone who'd listen that he should still be in the England side. Thinking about it, Darren Gough was even more forthright about how he should still have been in the oneday side years after in was plain to all that he was past it.

I think Gough still thinks he should be in the ODI side to be honest.

I'm sure Harmy said something, but can't remember what now.

Nah, remember the "muppets and jokers" comment? That was in the middle of a tour. Granted, very late in his career.

I reckon Ganguly had a few words when he got kicked off the team.

EDIT: I think Vaas has said a few things but he's been more indirect about it. More along the lines of "hey I'm still available you know".

Vaas would make any side in the world atm. Or at least has a case to.
