The rankings only go back as far as 2003 so I'm a little unsure where the rankings pre-2003 came from. The top ranking of 143 for Australia in 2007-08 is genuine though.

the team rankings, along with the individual ratings, can easily be retroactively applied. all one needs is a scorecard. at least that is what i have been led to believe.

HOWSTAT published this list in 2005. Link is dead now. You can also calculate .Only Australia(2007-08) and India have been added in those 5 years.
