Zimbabwe 'A' v Australia 'A' v South Africa 'A'

I originally thought this series was going to be between just Zimbabwe and Australia but I heard somewhere that South Africa is involved as well.

Does anybody know the details of this series like when it starts and if South Africa is involved as well and if there are FC matches and one-day matches?

Will it also over-lap with the annual Emerging tour in Australia?

Provisional A squad for Aust.

Cheers mate. I just couldn't find the fixtures on cricinfo at all.

I'm a bit diappointed we couldn't play Australia in a 4-day game as well. SA 'A' and AUS 'A' have hardly played against each other.

Will someone like Usman Khawaja be available for Australia seeing as he is at Derby as the overseas pro.

I know Tsotsobe and Parnell will be with Essex and Sussex respectively as overseas pros. Other candidates for SA 'A' in David Miller & Ryan McLaren will also be playing in the T20 competition in England. I hope they are available.

Liking the look of that squad! Will be interesting to see the final cut though.

Aus side is really strong, lots of international experience. Most of the South Africans in contrast would have never played an international 20/20 let alone score test match hundreds or be regarded as The Future of the Game. Either way, Zim will be hammered.

Patrick Cummins is in the mix. The first step to greatness. The Australians have a really good looking squad to be honest. Hughes, Marsh, Khuwaja, Ferguson sounds nice.

Uzzy will be called up in july and replaved by martin guptil, done deal.
I read Uzzy is available for the whole of the T20 torunament where the group stages end on the 15th July and then there is still the finals day afterwards.

I don't think our 2 overseas pros will play and neither will Ryan McLaren and Dave Miller who are playing in the T20.

Even with a few player missing in England I don't think it will be the worst SA side at all. It would have been nice to have Miller, Parnell and McLaren though.

1.) Jacques Rudolph (c)
2.) Jonathan Vandiar
3.) Colin Ingram
4.) Rilee Rossouw or Faf Du Plessis
5.) Dean Elgar (vc)
6.) Farhaan Behardien
7.) Heino Kuhn (+)
8.) Vernon Philander
9.) Rusty Theron
10.) Craig Alexander
11.) Ethy Mbhalati

They could have Van der Merwe with a bit of spin or they could go to the young tweakers in Piedt or Deeb (probably they will go to the emerging though).

It is a goodish side. Just pretty weak in comparison to what the Australians are fielding. And as it is Zim, probably need spin options. Robbie P and VDM would be good choices and have Loots open - he has a contract, so might as well work for it. Hoping for more runs from Kuhn and wickets from Alexander. Bouch needs to finally go and Lopsy isn't a test match quick. While the likes of Mbhalati despite doing all the right things, is just too slow and Pro is a dog/turd wicket specialist.

Patrick Cummins has no more right to be there than Mitchell Marsh. I hope neither of them make the cut.

Can players PLEASE start earning their starting spots? Both those choices of Greg Chappell's paws all over them.
