Zimbabwe 'A' v Australia 'A' v South Africa 'A'

Can't take Hilfenhaus. Can't. Not after Zimbabwe where he took one wicket in four innings against batsmen who are hardly top-notch. If the wicket were flat, well, so will they be in Lanka.

Sheesh he can't even take tail-end wickets. I like Hilfy a lot, but it's pointless expecting more from him than we've already had.

I don't think it's that simple with Clarke - he seems to have his own ideas on who he rates and doesn't rate, based on some of the plans he's come up with in his time. I'm not sure how that would translate to selection, though, as analysing some of his plans is... difficult, at times.
I would say if he played more with them it would be alot more viable because he would know what they can do. As it stands I don't think he's played a FC game with either of them.

He only bowled 2 innings unless you count the two day game (where he was the only quick not to take a wicket), but the point remains - he just isn't a wicket taker. I used to like him too, but I frogging hate bowlers who can't take wickets getting baggy greens. He's proven he just doesn't have what it takes. Time to move on.
