    ?

Paul Harris a waste of space, pick another batsman, but otherwise that team is fine. Would be extremely competitive if they played today - assuming each player is in reasonable touch.

yes but it is assuming that the Martians would also be playing top notch cricket.

A second, third, or even 5th all time great eleven would probably beat this side
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Obviously this wasn't intended to be the greatest side of all time, I thought that was pretty clear from the players I picked.

And as for the Paul Harris issue, I needed another bowler. If I had another batsman, I'd need Vaughan and Clarke to bowl 10 overs between them ever ODI. I wasn't sure if Harris was "Hoggardy enough", so I might have to pick Darren Gough instead.

Don't get what you mean by "Hoggard inspired"?
Every 5 years we have an election and have to decide who are the least obnoxious out of all the men. Then one gets in and they age really quickly. Which is always fun to watch.

    Here's the though process:

I decided I wanted a team with Matthew Hoggard in. Obviously I'd need some other players, so I couldn't just have him.
I went through each batting number, and though of Matthew Hoggard and then a player who played there, so that Hoggard would almost have linked me there.

    It's a flawed process.

You went straight from Matthew Hoggard to Herchelle Gibbs? Interesting.

I think the logic for that one went:

Hoggard - Did well in South Africa that one time - South Africans - Herchelle Gibbs.
