What do you think ofi t? This is mainly against Australia with bans up to 5 matches to life.

IMO, if they are going to do with Australia, they must do it for South Africa, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

It's Cricket Australia which is merely leading the way with the new legislation and has little to do with the ICC (other than their requests to do something about it). I'd suggest this is just testing the waters and if it works well, other countries will probably adopt it. Cricket Australia has to be seen to leading the way with this sort of thing (considering the reputation of the Aussies, deserved or not) and really, there's nothing so outrageous about any of the rules; they're mostly extensions of what has been in place at grade level for years.
