T20 does not improve the vast majority of domestic indian players. The IPL is there to make money. International stars=money.

Dougeh-Southee-Randiv-Ashwin is a damn good attack.

EDIT : Though Randiv isn't playing today. They've also got Albie Morkel.

Mukund should have left Chennai.

Plenty of teams where he would have been a regular opener or atleast played somewhere.

Mukund should surely play ahead of Anirudha Srikkanth. Can understand a bit of nepotism coming into play there, though.

Strange that Marty Gupper's didn't pick up an IPL contract thinking about it. He'd be amazing in the field & is more than handy against the new ball

Yep.

Mukund's problem here is that though he is generally a aggresive batsman,he is aggressive with ground strokes and chips.
Can't really smash the big ones with ease.

Stupid shot by Pandey.

Need to get him to open instead of Mishra, to get his confidence back.

Manish Pandey has disappointed in this IPL.. looked awesome at times in FC cricket when I watched him.

Manish Pandey is much better at the longest format. His batting in List A cricket annoys me. He's got all the shots, yet he tries and plays the slog too often in T20 and List A cricket. Comes off sometimes of course, but it isn't the best decision to make when you can play other shots successfully.

He's only had 2 games in this IPL, and to judge him on that would be unfair anyway. Let's give him a couple more games.

Pune need to work on their batting order. Ryder, Pandey, Uthappa, UV is what it should be. Not what they're doing currently.

Tbf, Has played 2 matches only, and that too with 3 wickets falling each time early on around him.
Plus is coming back from a suspension.

They should push him to the top of the order instead of Mishra with Ryder.

Did you watch his Duleep trophy final double hundred ,btw?
Was a magnificent innings like the Ranji trophy final hundred and fifty the season before.

Gets too fidgity in the IPL compared to FC cricket. Tries to be too aggressive and invent too many shots. Maybe like Sehwag.

Yuvraj and Uthappa, poster boys for hard work and dedication to physical health.

With one running in one direction, and the other vice versa, every cameraman on the ground would be struggling to keep their respective arses out of frame.

Was a good decision for RCB to get Tiwary in his place imo
He opened the batting for them and Tiwary Bats middle order.

Besides neither Dilshan or Tiwary have done anything better than him so far.
And they have gotten 6 chances each while Pandey coming back from suspension has only played 2 matches so far. Plus he is a way better fielder.

And he cost like 50 times less (atleast on paper) .Also Bangalore did not let him go .
They fought tooth and nail to keep him and even reported him to the GC as a result of which he was suspended for 4 games.

Yeah, Mohnish Mishra and Mithun Manhas haven't done enough to justify all these chances IMO.

 Uthappa has some glandular problem, but still.

Uthappa is about to cross into the 25 to 35 range.
Gets out mostly in there.
And there we go again.
Told you.

It's almost like you let him score that much looking supreme and he will throw his wicket away for you when he reaches it.
