I'd say Kumar too. Very easy on the eye and his game never really deserts him like some others in the list.

It was painful to watch Clarke at times during the Ashes. He looked really scratchy and jerky. Ponting hardly made a run either, but at least gave the impression he might.

Amla's one to watch for the next few years, I'd say. Has a dreamy cover drive. Needs to do something with the beard tho. The bumfluffy bits at the corners of his mouth really detract.

Brumby is CW's Ian Chappell imo. When he's got a strong view on something (like say, Amla's beard) you will hear about it many a time
"I am very happy and it will allow me to have lot more rice."

    Amla
    Ponting
    Jayawardene
    Sangakkara
    Kallis
    Dravid
Vijay (LOL, what's he doing in this poll?)

I can only assume that Vijay is the irrelevant 12th option.

Ridiculous, battingcentric thread. Most of those options make my eyes bleed.

Prefer Sachin over Sanga. Sachin has a better follow through.

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.

Shane Watson. In every sense of the word.

Jacques Henry Kallis for me...just love to watch him bat...full stop.

The way he plays almost every cricket shot in the MCC cricket manual to perfection gives me goosebumps.

But there are many others I love to watch as well.

This really is a batsman's game...where the bowling options?

I have never found Amla pleasing on the eye. He's very effective, but he's definitley not graceful.

Out of the given options,Laxman takes the cake.No batsman in the world looks good as he does when on song.

Also,Mohammad Yousuf should be in the list too. He's more graceful a batsman than half of the ones mentioned in the poll.Even when he doesn't score big, there's always that touch of incredible grace about his batting.

When Amla wafts his wand, its majestic.

The back-foot punch forward of point is the stand-out.

Amazing to watch against seam bowling. Awful to watch against spin bowling of reasonable quality.

Who is the best cricketer in the world? Sanga
Who is the most attractive cricketer in the world? Sreesanth, but Sanga's a close second.
Who is the best cricketer to watch in the world? Sanga by a ****ing mile. Tendulkar, Ponting et al. are almost ugly in comparison to Sanga. Haven't seen anyone bat with so much grace.
