He's not a bad commentator, he's just not a very good one either.

When you share a commentary box with Nasser Hussein, Michael Holding, Michael Atherton, Shane Warne and, for all his faults, David Lloyd, then you get badly shown up if you're merely average.

for me he is at par with holding and athers.......definitely above Botham and Willis..........and he is the best host for a cricket show in the world........the way he speaks and conducts himself on air give him air of sophistication that other hosts lack IMO

Worst : Laxman Sivaramkrishnan, Arun Lal, Sanjay Manjrekar, Russel Arnold, Ranjit Fernando.

What's Anil Kumble doing these days? Really enjoyed him in the 2009 T20 WC, thought he lacked a bit of charisma but had plenty of interesting stuff to say, particularly when spinners were on.

I can't believe people like Mark Richardson. imo he is a completely incoherent twit with a freakish ability to constantly be completely wrong about everything. Has a warped view of cricket (not surprising given how his own career developed) which makes him completely incapable of analysing it.

I don't mind him as a TV personality generally though.

Manjrekar- the only entertaining thing i’ve ever heard him say was when he was caught making that “have you ever fake orgasm? You can do it if wearing a condom” comment

Botham- another fat whinger. always seems to belittle anyone not english, especially indians/pakistanis/lankans. Proof that just because you were great at your craft, doesn’t mean peopleshould let you air your views. IE mel Gibson

Harsha- annoying skinny turd who talks so much crap. So delighted by the game yet has never played in his life, but thinks he’s an expert. Epitome of the Indian cricket tragic.
