Interesting to see that Munaf Patel has been included in the India 'A' side to play NZ before the test series.

If he does destroy NZ, that would be a huge psyhological blow in favour of India.

Why Munaf Patel in particular? I figure that if anyone from India A were to destroy New Zealand it would be a huge psycological blow.

No, Munaf is an unknown quantity..he hasn't played first class cricket so NZ will have very little knowledge on him.

Then he is more likely to topple our batting.. as he hasnt played any fc . od or any important match uptil now..

and if lightning pace does come through on the indian pitches and run through new zealand.. we have something to worry.. for the odis

No one knows how fast he is as speed guns were never used whenever he bowled. Some says that he's probably around 145 mark.

Munaf haven't played any domestic match, he's totally inexperiance, can't say for sure whether such an inexperiance bowler can trouble Kiwis much.

Though i have heard that Ganguly and Sachin were very impressed with this fellow, and Steven waugh had a hard time facing munaf in a friendly match!
