That's just something I'd like to see, mind. Can't see Clarke being captain and coming in at 5.

Nah, he won't make it.

Latham keeping? Never knew he could keep.

You have Latham as a keeper too I'm guessing?
Yup. By all accounts a very, very talented batsman. By then I imagine they'll be looking for a guy who can take the gloves for 8-10 years.

Howsie's XI looks pretty good to me.

Just to be different my XI

1) Brodie (will get a temporary stint in the team 4 years from now and will fail)
2) Flynn (who will average 30)
3) Williamson
4) Taylor
5) Ryder
6) McCullum (will be dropped as an opener and still won't want to keep)
7) Watling (will take up the gloves to get into the team)
8) Bracewell (best bowling action after Mason)
9) Southee (he is the real deal)
10) Beard (Revolving door for our spinner - we will try various people like Aussie is)
11) Wagner

can't see clarke lasting that far as a captain he'll meltdown at some point after getting the full time captaincy and the armband then will be handed over to Watto who's personality continue to impress me.

There are few blokes who might jump the queue and overtake a few guys on that list, but these are the blokes most likely to form the nucleus of the Australian side in 4 years time.

About time the north formed its own team. We'll take Lyth, Trott, Bell, Shazad, Broad, Bresnan, Taylor and Rashid, thanks.
Actually - hmm...

Strauss, Cook, Key, Pietersen, Hildreth, Bopara, Prior, Tredwell, Tremlett, Chambers, Finn

vs

Lyth, Trott, Bell, Taylor, Gale, Read, Bresnan, Rashid, Broad, Swann, Anderson

North takes it for me. Well down on openers but wins in every other area. Shazad still doesn't get a game .
