International Coach
Always a fun exercise. Here's mine:

1. Sehwag - another year of consistent plundering

2. Tamim Iqbal - The most consistent of the other openers this year, scored against both India and England

3. Hashim Amla - A mountain of runs, particularly against India, he's SA's run machine

4. Tendulkar - In the twilight of his career, but as good as ever

5. Kallis - Finally got his double-hundred to cap a years of runs everywhere

6. Laxman - Great average and some superb matchwinning knocks

7. Dhoni (wk/c) - Scored as decently as any keeper and captains pretty competently as well

8. Swann - Finally established himself as the best spinner in the game, most wickets in the year

9. Steyn - Best bowler in the world by a mile, a wicket-taking phenomenon, and what a strikerate

10. Zaheer Khan - Yeoman efforts on the flat pitches of India with plenty of success

11. Jimmy Anderson - Came into his own as a worldclass bowler, ended the year on a strong note taking back the Ashes

12th man - Shane Watson - Scored runs briskly and took a couple of fifers as well
