Battle of the Test Matches II

Have to say I did not know anything about any of those three matches. Looking at scorecards, and glancing over the match reports, I'd go for Adelaide 1993. Curtly Ambrose heroics FTW.

I will never ever ever ever forget being gutted at billy being given out off the helmet. Fantastic test. Adelaide

I was 6 years old; and yet still have memories of Adelaide. Any game with Ambrose at his peak should make it to the final.

Amazing fightback from England. I witnessed the denoument huddled around a small portable telly in a B&B in Whitley Bay with my mates where I was on a stag do; cricket > titty bars, clearly. Great memories.

Cork's knock was the best 33 you'll ever see. He came to the crease with 39 still needed and seven wickets down facing a fired up Ambrose and Walsh and lost Caddick, who'd set up the win 5 for eff all the day before, with 28 still required.

UPDATE: Adelaide 6, Lords 3, Manchester 2.

Looking more competitive than other battles at least.
