Sydney was, in terms of impact on the sport, arguably one of the most important tests of the last two decades. Not in a good way tho, it's fair to say.
As a sporting contest, I'm going with Norman Cowans, AB & Thommo, Miller's rebound & all that: the MCG.
Just keep it simple Morgie, and give it to the one with most votes. I understand why its not ideal when it doesn't have the majority of votes, but in a battle like this which unfortunately isn't getting a massive amount of votes (so far), just do most votes so we can get through the rounds.
Fair enough. Adelaide goes through, now things only require a simple lead.
Apologies for being late, was busy and it got late by the time I wanted to finish it. Disappointing turnout, but Melbourne wins.
This battle looks fairly bland from the outside, but I may be wrong....
2nd Test: Sri Lanka v India at Galle, Jul 31-Aug 3, 2008 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
1st Test: England v Australia at Cardiff, Jul 8-12, 2009 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
4th Test: South Africa v England at Johannesburg, Jan 13-17, 2005 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
Biased vote, but Cardiff. Pretty turd Test for 4 days but I don't think I've ever been quite as tense as I was on day five. Couldn't even bring myself to go the toilet between overs in case I missed a ball.
Jo'Berg. What a day that was, Hoggard was brilliant.
UPDATE: Joburg 1, Cardiff 1.
Seriously? Two votes?
Tempted to go for Joburg and Galle coz of incredible solo performances ( hoggard and SehWAG) but gotta go tor Cardiff in the end... amazing finish
Have to go for Galle. Best live innings I've seen ahead of Laxman's 281 and Clarke's 151.
Not really when you say "seen" and "live" tbf
