Oh, a result of not reading the rules properly.

So, the players have to have retired at least 5 years ago. Tendulkar and Muralitharan are out of it (lol, it seems I missed writing down Murali's place in the list at the first place :p ).

This 5 years rule makes my work a bit hard. Can someone quickly tell me which ones among Gilchrist, Warne, McGrath, Wasim, Lara and Donald are available? I am assuming Steve Waugh is.

Well we've had 14 people contribute so far. 301 nominations split over 101 different figures.
Currently leading are Don Bradman and Jack Hobbs with 11 nominations apiece, closely followed by Garry Sobers and WG Grace who both have 10.
50 people have only 1 nomination.

In no particular order, obviously. It's a bit of a random list, but one that covers the various aspects of the game and it's characters quite well I feel, as opposed to just being a "greatest 25 players" list.
