Watch and admire the best opener in the world go about his business for the No. 1 team in the world. :)
I will enjoy it for sure. I was watching back his 317 @ Chennai 08 just before i went to bed last night (English time).

Aside from anti-jinxing, why do Indian fans seem to genuinely believe that New Zealand can win at least a Test or at least draw one? If you can beat Australia, then you can beat New Zealand, sorry, but that is fact. Just where do you see the New Zealand bowlers getting one up on the Indians? Perhaps in New Zealand with pitches similar to the 02/03 Tour, but not in your own backyard.

You guys are a peculiar bunch.

They're just trying to avoid getting Tuffey 2004'd, Southee'd in overcast conditions or random debutant'd by some dude.

We all giggled at Shuvo's ODI average, and look what that **** did.:p

India are a peculiar bunch.. I remember after beating Australia in that epic series in 2001, they went and lost to Zimbabwe.

That's something NZ would do. Look a classy outfit against top teams, then lose to a much lesser ranked team.

Oh...

Emm...As well as Indians are slow starters in Test series so backing a draw or 2-1 to India

Draw, definitely. The pitch for the first test is flatter than Kiera Knightley and we lack the penetration to win a match on a snooker table without it breaking down on the 4th and 5th days.

In all honesty though, Expecting a 2-0 in favour of India.

In all seriousness, this is the kind of series where the likes of Harbhajan and Ojha should be looking to push that average downwards.

I can't believe we go from series where both fans back their teams to smash the other, to a series where both sets of fans reckon they'll lose.

You are facing the weakest New Zealand team since the days of Justin Vaughan in the middle order, at home, and our biggest weakness is left arm pacers and anything that remotely looks like spin, both of which you have in abundance. The bowling is probably the worst in decades because at least in the early to mid 90s we had Danny Morrison, Chris Cairns and Dion Nash. Our frontline "strike bowler" has an average of 35 and hasn't demolished a team probably since the last time we played against South Africa. He also bowls rather defensive lines for a strike bowler.

Your batting line up is going to rape us and we have a grand total of three proven test class batsmen, and while they might be very good if they all score 50s that's only 150 runs to chase.

And if Tim McIntosh scores his once a season 2564949*, you're sweet for the rest of the series because he won't get past ten.

You won't even need to wear protection when you bend us over.

Vettori to take second innings wickets and Bruce Willis to take up hairdressing:ph34r:

Let me put it this way: Zinzan will enjoy himself saying India isn't a clear cut no.1 or whatever if you keep being such wussy miserable ****s about your team.:p

Indian fans have old, deep scars. It's not like Australia. India have a habit of playing up or down to the level of their opponents. It's quite annoying, so being the worse team on paper means less against India than it might against some other sides.

Hope the series starts the same way this one did. (Ignore the second innings  )

Bring Nash out of retirement, IMO.
Haha, one thing is true: it's really hard to bowl India out twice cheaply. And at home, it's almost unheard of. Probably the most important reason for India's ranking. So if NZ is to win in India, they have to outbat a lineup of Gambhir-Sehwag-Dravid-Tendulkar-Laxman twice in the same match.

I think they've got a chance of doing that, but they have to play really well.

NZ will be raped imo. All you anti-jinxers and pessimistic ****s can go and get ****ed.:p
At least one of you has balls. But this guy being the one with balls is as suprising as Nathan Bracken's true gender.:p

Man up ****s and make some big calls. Vettori to mow India to pieces single-handedly.
