Left Handers Draft Thread

Somerset

Cricketer Of The Year
With so few wicket keepers remaining but about 3 of us still to pick one, I'll select mine and pick George Brown - I admit to knowing very little of him, but his Cricinfo profile seems to indicate that his wicket-keeping skills were excellent, even if he bowled enough to take 600+ FC wickets in his career; and with 37 FC hundreds hes a more than reasonable batsman.

Is Tillekerarne going to be your keeper? Interesting option.

I personally think your attack would work brilliantly together, very handy with the bat too. I'm looking forward to seeing which batsman you get.
That's the plan.

Was a decent keeper ,but gave it up to concentrate on his batting. And with Verity coming at 10 and Davidson coming at 9 ,batting should not be a problem for my side.

Besides the choice was between, him and Patel for me and he can't be any worse than Parthiv.:)

Pretty happy with my attack too. Got myself a Right arm seamer in Klusener to complement the other 2 left arm fast bowlers and 2 left arm spinners who can ball all day if required and were perhaps two of the best left arm spinners ever.
Davidson is second for me only to Akram in all time left arm fast bowling stakes too.

Desperately hoping a certain player who has been very strangely ignored till now a bit strangely for me,keeps being ignored till my turn.

I wanted Sutcliffe as well but I was a way away from picking so I wasn't holding my breath. He went earlier than I expected though.
