"Is the Game of Cricket a Model for Surviving the 21st Century?" - Thoughts?

Is the Game of Cricket a Model for Surviving the 21st Century? - Culture - GOOD

Anyone have thoughts on this article?

Coming from a relatively external view from the average cricket fan, I found it a fascinating read. Particularly in a time where the ICC, and cricket in general, has been criticised perhaps more than ever.

Obviously not an article for the traditionalist, but interesting nonetheless imo.

Fine CW, next time I'll post a thread about how Indian grandmas are a better batsman than Marcus North, or update you all when Mohammed Asif gets married. That'll get plenty of replies.

    Screw you all.

The writer was quite obviously American.
