Did anyone see Rohit Sharma today? Apparently he was as awesome as always at domestic level, and threw away a guaranteed ton?
That's the problem with him.

Can't seem to score the really big runs at all.
At the international level throws it away at 30 odd and at the Domestic level throws it away again but atleast at decent scores.

Ranji Trophy is on, and Delhi vs Bengal is being played on a flat Kotla wicket, with Bengal batting first. Bengal are at 179/1, with the only wicket being Goswami, falling to part-timer Manhas. Rajat Bhatia is keeping a very tight line and length, and ten overs have gone for at least eighteen runs. If he was larger and stronger, he'd be an India prospect, with his superior batting. He's out of contention for Tests, but he's been bowling stump-to-stump, and not given scoring opportunities.

Bengal, on the other hand, haven't quite made the best use of a flat deck. Their running between wickets has largely been inadequate, but partnerships have been built. Arindam Das has scored 85 and looks solid, though not much of a mover.
Yeah!!

Trust Neo to show the most boring of matches.

Amazing performance. Absolutely stunning.

Anyway good article about the players who could get themselves into the national team through this season's Ranji Trophy:

I think now Pujara has made the team,Rahane is the next one who is going to push the selectors to pick him.
Followed by Anhinav Mukund.

Here is a article about Rahane-

He is strangely though missing Mumbai's first match .

Rahane is injured. Read it on cricinfo in an article while browsing through 'em. Not sure which one it was.

I see Deepak Chahar is a bowler in the prabhakar mould according to this article.

One to look out for i guess.

Lalit modi to be fair to him,did a lot of work in Rajasthan and specially in the jaipur area in terms of Development of players and also brought in youngsters and other players from outside when he took over at RCA.

So won't be surprised if more young talent emerges out of the team in the next couple of years.
He;s only 18. wow

Kohli and Badrinath also in the runs I see. Kohli 50+ n.o, Badrinath with an 80+

AA scored 80 runs for Mumbai at 7

Unadkat 0-116 against Mumbai. Looks to be a flat track, but still hardly flattering figures.

Also Yadav 6-86 against Kerala though, which is amazing on debut!

Whatever it takes!!!
That guy Prabhakar was a really crafty bowler with the old ball.. I believe Ishant credited him during the 2008 series. Hopefully this new guy can pick off from him too.

The way he was swinging the ball looked more in the Asif class than the Prabhakar class, IMHO.

But then everyone looks awesome while taking an 8-fer.

His overall first class bowling stats are absolutely elite. And even he if he equal to or slightly worse than Sree or Ishant, his batting ability surely makes up for that.

Praveen Kumar should be a must in South Africa and England with the ball swinging.

Seems Karnataka is not playing these round of games.

After being the top scorer amongst all in the Ranji trophy last year, this could also be a breakthrough season for Manish Pandey this year.

Meanwhile Anil Kumble is contesting electiones for KSCA presidency and Javagal Srinath is contesting for the Secretary's post.
Venkatesh Prasad and Rahul Dravid are also member of their managing committee and have pledged support.

Yuvraj failing in the 2nd innings for Punjab.

Will he even make the test squad to SA? Doubtful IMO.

Anil Kumble attempting getting involved in Karnata's cricket administration, running for President against the incumbent. Best man for the job, this only spells good things for Indian cricket.

Venkatesh Prasad and Srinath also getting involved, and Dravid too (in a lesser capacity whilst he's still playing).
