This is true but I would say that, as Sachin was generally opening, he had Ganguly, Azhar, Dravid, etc. to follow and had Ganguly and Sehwag opening with him at various stages. No mugs so he himself had a lot of freedom. My opinion, Sachin had an easier time (not easy, obv) against the new nurry, having all wickets in hand and the field up vs 2 or 3 down but with one big card to play (Dhoni) and a soft ball.
They weren't a patch on Dhoni though. This batting lineup of ours is far stronger than when Tendulkar was having a similar run to what Kohli's having now, in 1998.
But honestly if Kohli keeps this up for a few more years he'd be an easy pick for an AT ODI XI...

I'd quite like one to stand in for me, too tbh.

It's nice to have you back Shri.

What's that avatar you have there? Your avatars always seem to have little squiggly lines on them in some form or anther which look like the Ebola virus under a microscope.

Which is apt, but still doesn't tell me what they are.

No wonder Viv says Kohli reminds him of himself

    You're already killing the internet
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
