If true all involved need banning for life.
In a video secretly recorded during the NOTW investigation, a man alleged to be Mazher is clearly heard predicting that Amir would bowl the first over of the England innings, and that he would deliver a no-ball from the first ball of the third over - which as Cricinfo's ball-by-ball commentary noted: "was an enormous no-ball, good half a metre over the line." The man also appeared to correctly predict a no-ball from the sixth ball of the tenth over, bowled this time by Asif.

This looks bad. Very bad.

I just think if these things happened, this crap would end:
If the ICC just forced all players to agree that a conviction in match-fixing means:
a) The players must forfeit all match fees overlooked by the ICC
b) They were banned for life from the sport
^^^ You wouldn't see anyone trying anything if this came true.
Oh my, this is a catastrophe for Pakistan cricket.
The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.
**** this is really sad for the game. One day these guys are all the sanctimonious pricks donating half their game fees for charity and then we know they do that because they receive a bigger package from the bookies. Sad day for cricket.
Yup, this would end only if there is a more equitable distribution of match fees and salaries amongst Test players.
I am honestly in shock that such talented people like Amir and Asif would succumb to such greed.
I think this makes it fair to call into question their performance overall.
This Test should be from the record.
If all this is true, everyone involved should be suspended for life. A 2-3 year ban won't be good for anyone.
Having said that, if players like Asif and Amir are banned for life (I don't care much for Butt or Akmal, though) that'll really be very sad for all cricket-lovers.
Still, all of them should be banned for life if everything's true.
"I want to raise my hand and say one thing. Those who complain about my love for the game or commitment to the game are clueless. These are the only 2 areas where I give myself 100 out of 100."
