Really don't think Bates looks like that good a death bowler. He seems to offer up a lot of half volleys and full tosses that would most likely get murdered at international level.

Hodge is back??? ND's imports situation is so confusing. Was Hodge supposed to come back at this stage? He did actually leave right?

Yeah pretty much, I think he was only scheduled to miss one game because of NSW commitments but then he picked up a injury early last week.

van der Wath looks to be having a cracker - 31 off 13 and 1-0-1-1 (Hodge).

ND bat deep enough but one of Wilson / Williamson / Watling will need to step up with a 50 run anchor innings now.
