It's all because people started talking about this game as a semi-final. Once our batsmen hear that word, they're doomed.

The NZ scorecard looks like the Indian scorecard minus Sehwag. Sehwag should bat for both teams to even things out.

This puts the quality of Sehwag's knock in better perspective.

Munaf has started with a wide at 124.4kph, I hope it improves from here!
The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.

Munaf might be the guy we have to go after. He's made a very shaky start here.

It is hard to believe that he bowled 145kph in his Test debut.

Asterisks can't do justice to the way I'm feeling.

Could anyone here, who follows FC cricket with more than a passing interest, tell me of Praveen's performances in the longer version of the game in comparison to his competitors?

See for yourself, superb in all seasons except 2008/9. From what I have heard, he is excellent with the new ball and often toothless with the old ball - just like in ODI cricket. Tbh though, I don't see that as a problem in an Indian team that mainly has two spinners as well as Sehwag as the part time option, when the ball is old.

Wahey, Kane off the mark. Will he make double figures?
