Mishra pitching it too full just below the bat. FFS pitch it at good length. The ball will SPIN before it reaches the bat.

Can someone please explain to Ishant that you don't bowl bouncers to tailenders every single ball? You mix it up so that the batsman is left guessing about the length and then the bouncer becomes much more effective. It staggers me that someone has reached test level without understanding this.

Mishra can't turn it from around the wicket on THIS pitch, he can never really turn it. Is a hopeless case IMO.

Exactly. Good reply from both the groundstaff and the team. Awesome stuff from Samaraweera, and Mendis too.

Ojha gets it to turn fast again when he pitches it on good length. There is definitely some thing in it for the spinners. Indians just haven't been able to utilise it. Commentators say it is the pitch slowing down but I believe it is a lot to do with the lengths the bowlers have bowled.
