Whatever it takes!!!
@_@ So much information to intake. How do you all know so much about the wickets and these match-ups of countries against them so well?
The magic................................. of Cricinfo Statsguru..

Amd of course, our very own CW Stats Spider, which was created through the hard work and dedication of quite a few here. :)

God just declare, who gives a flying baloney about these people getting senseless milestones, make the match more interesting for gods sake.

Mind you India don't like getting either one of these two out. I reckon if they declare now, they still will be safe. But you may as well go on and see if Jayawardene can get his 200 and Samaraweera can get his 100.

I don't hold it against you for the opinion you have on it. You're mistaken if that's what you think. I will however call BS on it if you're going to conveniently mix up the reasons you copped a 'hammering' for, back then.
C'mon, let's not be a drama queen & try to make something out of nothing, It's hardly BS when we're effectively debating what constitutes a 'hammering'. The fact that more people disagreed with point A than with point B doesn't automatically render criticism of point B as being unsubstantiated, that's effectively what you're saying.

What's utter BS is trying to discredit someone point by conveniently alluding to something else unrelated. Poor cricket that - Howsatttt !

Don't forget people that it's not that the bowling is bad or the pitch is flat.

It's because India and Sri Lanka batsmen are clearly 10-15 runs per innings better on average than every other batsmen in the World. Yep just look at those last 3-4 year Test batting averages. They're purely on merit. All the muppets defending them said so.

Funny how you don't bash Australians for being flat, home track bullies.

And if the subcontinent is so easy to bat in, why do so many non SC batsmen struggle?

Loss of Malinga will be felt more than Murali here IMO. Always the feeling he could make a breakthrough.

I can see Ojha being discarded forever from the Indian setup after this series. Much like the players who played during the late 90s and the early 2000s.

Because some of them had to face an all-time great in Murali, also the pitches tend to be flat for 2-3 days and then take turn, if you've lost the toss then it can be tough. If you bat first you'd be disappointed if you don't make 500+

1st Test: Sri Lanka v England at Kandy, Dec 1-5, 2007 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com
3rd Test: Sri Lanka v England at Galle, Dec 18-22, 2007 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com (all out 81 and saved by rain, how embarrassing)
