A line up of Masakadza, Taylor, Taibu, S. Ervine, C. Ervine, Coventry, Chigambura, Blignaut, Utseya, Price and Mpofu could beat BAN any day IMO.
Ervine's very much a pie-chucker these days. Always has been to a certain extent but it's even more pronounced now that he's a part-time bowler. He'd get a trundle for Zimbabwe but he wouldn't be very effective. Good bat though.

If they started playing Tests again, Rainsford would get picked. Comfortably the best seamer they have but has no-ball issues which can make him a bit of a liability in one day cricket; he also struggles to control the new white ball at times and given Zimbabwe generally only pick one specialist fast bowler it's not like he could bowl first or second change.

Ive always liked Rainsford. I maybe being unfair on Martin but I always put Martin and Rainsford together in my mind. Guys with a lot going on and some gas but not quite enough to look the business at Test level.

Shame to see Blignaut reduced to a medium paced trundler. Use to enjoy watching him bowl gun barrel straight 145kph half volleys.

Awesome though for Zim.

ok i am watching the highlight of the indian vs. Zimbabwe match in ten sports..

who is that buzz kill commentator? He has to be one of the worst one i have heard.. no voice, u can barely hear him talking.. he commentated with Tony Graig.. what a combination; a loud mouth and a buzz killing..

Zimbabwe are good side at home, it's just that nobody goes over there except Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Strong Batting + a good twin headed Spin attack of Price and Utseya.

I'd like to see Andy coach them after the Ashes or World Cup

You are being far to generous.

Agreed. You can't use the word 'good' that lightly. Great is already overused.

If good is too, we're in trouble.

Nobody cares really. We had a chuckle over coffee and that's it.

I think you are referring to Ajantha Mendis. Yes, he's a waste of space specially against sub continent teams. He's not adapting. His mystery is gone, so he should try to develop a good off break.

And in the mean time Chandimal is having a party out there. 43(48) with one four and three huge sixes
