ODI pair of finishers

Shri

Mr. Glass
Who are the batsmen who you think won matches for their team as partners regularly/finished games off for the side as partners regularly(1st innings)?

Yuvraj and Dhoni come to mind in recent times. Was there any particular batsman with who players like Bevan finished games off? Not just as individuals but as pairs.

Gilchrist, with Hayden an Mark Waugh, finished a lot of matches as contests awfully early.

Can't really think of someone who Bevan regularly batted successfully with, other than to say he did a lot of his best work, or at least most memorable, when other batsmen failed.

How about Albie Morkel and Boucher for SA, Paul Collingwood and Morgan for England, Dwayne Bravo and Chanderpaul for Windies, Vettori and Oram/Mcullum for NZ.

Remember him finishing more than one game off with Andy Bichel making a significant contribution. Not sure if that counts though. :p

For a couple of years 2006-2007: with a Dravid who had recast his ODI batting, India had Yuvraj-Dravid-Dhoni at 4-5-6 (with some occasional shuffling).

That I'd say , provided Yuvraj-Dravid, Yuvraj-Dhoni (which has persisted beyond) and Dravid-Dhoni as crucial finisher pairs, I think all 3 pairs might make the top 25-30 middle order pairs for all time runs in ODIs remarkable considering the arrangement did not last too long due to Dravid's form.

Dravid is a consummate partnership machine: he makes it in the top 10 of ODI pairs with his #3 pairings with Ganguly, Tendulkar as well, which makes him quite a versatile limited overs batsman (his strike rate in this IPL is similar to Gambhir, SS Tiwary and more than Symonds) -

Best pair must be Dhoni and Yuvi

All the other great finishers, e.g.Bevan, generally did it in partnership with tail-enders after a collapse

Will a qualification of 50 runs partnership batting into the last 5 overs of a successful chase is a good criteria? Or should be 75?
