Bumble loses the plot

David Lloyd writes for Sky Sports and has a general Q and A session with members of the public.

Here's a sample from today's column:

The question he was asked was:

"I thought the bowler's arm should be locked at the point of delivery but slo-mo action shows that Paul Adams' is bent. Why is this not called a no-ball?" Rob Wilkins

His reply clearly shows why he was a successful coach of the England side:

"Because it's a legal action. And England have to keep it legal. They need him in their attack. Adams' action isn't without its faults, but he could grow into an important squad player if he continues to progress."

So you heard it here first folks, Paul Adams could be an important squad player for England if he continues to progress...

And its not like Lloyd doesn't even see most of these guys in action because he commentates.
He was probably thinking about something to do with England and ended up typing it in without even thinking.
You'd think that Sky Sports would proof-read the article too.

It could be that Bumble is playing things a little subtle - insinuating that it would be better for England if Paul Adams plays.

Or it could be that he's just a muddled old codger.

True. If not for anything else, he's entertainment.

This is the likeliest reason. It's not that it hasn't happened to people before, but you'd expect Sky Sports to notice.

for the advantage of people who dont know who Adams is, he is a left arm chinaman who plays for South Africa and not ENGLAND
